Embracing the Year of the Snake with a traditional lion dance, themed EPIC Dinner, Sunday Brunch, and festive gifts

Bangkok, Thailand – January 7, 2024 – This Lunar New Year, The St. Regis Bangkok is set to honor the kingdom’s rich Thai-Chinese heritage with a series of festive celebrations. Throughout the week, guests will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of spectacular culinary delights and engaging activities to welcome the Year of the Snake, available from January 24 to February 8, 2025.

The celebrations begin with the Lunar New Year EPIC Dinner at VIU on January 31 and February 1, 2025, inviting guests to traverse the ancient Silk Road through a culinary showcase of Chinese and European flavors. Inspired by the historic trade routes that linked China with the Mediterranean, the menu brings together the best of both worlds, featuring specially selected Chinese dishes such as Suckling Pig and Peking Duck at the Chinese corner, alongside VIU’s European main dishes like Italian Pork Sausage, Wagyu Beef Striploin, Australian Lamb Rack, as well as a Grilled Boston Lobster Tail for each diner.

On February 2, 2025, the Festive Signature Sunday Brunch at VIU also embraces a festive theme, enriching its lavish spread with exquisite Chinese dishes such as Suckling Pig, Peking Duck, Mud Crab, and the special Yusheng alongside a main course menu inspired by traditional Chinese cuisine. Guests can indulge in other highlights, including BBQ Pork Ribs, Australian Wagyu Beef Striploin, Salmon Fillet, and Grilled Boston Lobster. The brunch features a unique selection of Chinese-inspired desserts and an orange cake giveaway, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune. Guests can also enjoy a magnificent lion dance performance, a Chinese zither, complimentary “Hong Bao” red envelopes, and lucky draws.

Throughout the Lunar New Year festive season from January 24 until February 8, 2025, The Lounge will transform into a haven for those seeking Chinese-inspired treats to share the spirit of the season. Beautifully crafted cakes and pralines are available for purchase, ideal for gifts or personal indulgence, starting at THB 260++ per piece.

Celebrate the Chinese New Year at The St. Regis Bangkok with the Lunar New Year EPIC Dinner, served from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM and priced at THB 2,500++ per person, and the Festive Signature Sunday Brunch on February 2, 2025 from 12:30 – 3:30 PM at THB 3,500++ per person at VIU.
