Bangkok, Thailand – Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bangkok is excited to reveal the third edition of its “Tree of Life” afternoon tea series, which presents a selection of handcrafted sweet and savory bites inspired by Thai nature, culture and tradition, accompanied by premium tea and freshly-brewed coffee.

Staged at The Living Room and The Library, the hotel’s sophisticated first floor venue, this daytime dining experience is perfect for couples, best friends or family members seeking the chance to relax together, share stories, or simply take a break from their daytime shopping trip in Sukhumvit. Episode 3 is called “Tree of Wealth” and celebrates wealth and prosperity, drawing inspiration from auspicious Thai cultural symbols and elements, such as gold, pearls and diamonds.

Diners can indulge in a series of carefully crafted sweet treats such as Black Forest caviar, golden hazelnut pralines, chocolate geode lollipops, chocolate truffles, and diamond peach macarons, plus a delectable French pastry: apple turnover served with clotted cream and strawberry jam.

These bite-sized delights will be served alongside a selection of sublime savory dishes, including crispy prawn & coleslaw sandwiches with gold leaf, cauliflower panna cotta with orange pearls, Siamese ruby fruit with Alaskan crab in an avocado choux, cured salmon with trout caviar, and brie & walnuts on toasted crackers with figs. 

Elegantly presented on a “Tree of Life” stand, these delicacies can be paired with the finest TWG tea and Segafredo coffee for a wonderfully rewarding epicurean experience. For a truly sparkling afternoon, guests can opt for a flute of sparkling beverage.

The “Tree of Wealth” afternoon tea is available from Monday - Saturday (14:00 - 17:00 hrs.), between August and December 2024, priced at THB 1,200++ per person, or THB 1,400++ including a glass of sparkling beverage for each guest. The Living Room and The Library is directly accessible from Asok BTS skytrain and Sukhumvit MRT subway station, making this the ideal option for discerning hotel guests and local residents alike.
