Bangkok, Thailand – Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, the iconic Luxury Collection Hotel in the beating heart of Bangkok, is inviting its discerning guests and local residents to embark on a multi-sensory voyage through the Mediterranean this month with a sublime six-course dinner that highlights exquisite Italian seafood and fine premium beverages from Finca Constancia, the “new face of Spanish premium beverage” which produces the highest quality labels in a vineyard nestled between two mountain ranges in the Castilla-La Mancha region of Spain.


For one night only on Friday 21st June, Chef Giacomo Vinci, Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit’s acclaimed executive sous chef, will transport diners on a gastronomic odyssey to Southern Europe. Staged at Rossini’s, the Michelin-rated ristorante that evokes the ambiance of a traditional Tuscan villa, this immersive evening will include the chance to see a dramatic bluefin tuna demonstration, as Chef Giacomo carves and cooks this magnificent fish live at Rossini’s show kitchen.


A choice of two sensational six-course set menus – one focusing on fresh seafood and one vegetarian option – will showcase sustainable produce, either locally sourced or imported directly from Italy. The evening will commence with handcrafted canapés and a fruity Spanish Chardonnay, followed by an enticing appetizer of Sicilian-style marinated sardines for the regular menu and a Sicilian-style chickpea cream for vegetarians. Both of these dishes will be paired with a glass of Parcela 52, Finca Constancia’s vibrant Verdejo white premium beverage.


A delightful plate of Mediterranean prawns and cauliflower with a bisque sauce, or cold arugula linguine with ricotta, will be followed by a creamy Alaskan king crab risotto for seafood lovers or a traditional Sardinian fregola with wild fennel for vegetarians. Each of these delectable dishes will be paired with one of Finca Constancia’s famous Tempranillo premium beverages – fruity and full-bodied reds that reflect the heart and soul of Spanish premium beverage making.


Then comes the main event, as guests have the unique opportunity to savor chargrilled bluefin tuna steak, prepared in a classic Mediterranean style with olive oil and Sicilian lemon and presented live by Chef Giacomo in a vibrant demonstration of culinary theatre. The vegetarian menu will feature fresh asparagus with spring truffle and all diners will be able to sip the rich, cherry-red premium beverage of Altos de la Finca, which blends Petit Verdot and Syrah grapes.




This multi-sensory epicurean adventure will conclude with a wonderfully refreshing raspberry, lemon & pistachio millefoglie, the Italian version of a classic European mille-feuille pastry, along with a selection of petit fours and freshly brewed Segafredo coffee.
