Immersive journey into the art and craft of chocolate, from tempering to making pralines.

 

Bangkok, Thailand – May 14, 2024 - The St. Regis Bangkok is elevating its pastry experiences with an exclusive Chocolate Making Class hosted by the hotel’s Executive Pastry Chef Nuntida “Nok” Panyabaramee for two days only on May 29 and May 30, 2024 at The Lounge, located on the first floor of the hotel.

The immersive experience begins with a tasting session, where guests explore the notes and nuances of multiple chocolates from different countries, including Thailand. Under Chef Nok’s expert guidance, guests will learn the art of tempering techniques and create a chocolate bar with a choice of toppings, such as nuts, dried fruits and candies. The journey continues with a chocolate praline session, which Chef Nok will showcase how to master the silky and smooth chocolate ganache infused with tea for exquisite chocolate pralines.

Designed to be intimate and engaging, the classes are suitable for all guests, including beginners, with a maximum of 12 people per class to ensure an enjoyable experience for every attendee. At the end of the session, guests can take home their chocolate creations or give them as a gift to a loved one.

Sharing her extensive expertise throughout the Chocolate Workshop is Chef Nok, who specializes in crafting pastries and sweets using French techniques, as well as making craft chocolates with unique flavors. With nearly two decades of experience spanning from Bangkok to Belgium, she has honed her skills in some of the world's finest establishments before bringing her talents to The St. Regis Bangkok.

The 90-minute Chocolate Making Class starts at 2:00 PM on May 29 and May 30, 2024, at The Lounge, for THB 1,600++ per person, inclusive of one welcome chocolate drink and one complimentary pastry.

 

Advance reservations are required. In addition, guests can enjoy the handcrafted Fleur de Sal Chocolate Bar and Chocolate Hazelnut Dome created by Chef Nok, available for purchase at The Lounge.
