The Flavors of Summer with Khao-Chae at Thara Thong      

Thailand, Bangkok 8 April 2024, As the temperatures rise, Thara Thong, the royal Thai cuisine unveils its tantalizing summer menu, featuring an array of refreshing delights to excite the palate.

From April to May, guests can enjoy the essence of Thai summer with signature dishes like Yam Ta Krai Hoi Shell, a spicy Thai scallop salad infused with the refreshing essence of lemongrass, lime, and mint. Each bite offers a symphony of flavors that will leave your taste buds tingling with delight. Khao Phad Pla Salid, a fragrant fried rice dish featuring 'Sa Lid' fresh water fish, perfectly complemented by the zesty crunch of green mango salad. This dish promises to transport you to the bustling streets of Thailand with its authentic taste and aroma. Tangmo Pla Haeng a chilled watermelon with dried fish dish, and Mayong Chid Loy Kaew, Chilled Marian Plum in Scented Syrup, for a refreshing and unexpected delight, providing a perfect balance of flavors to conclude your meal on a high note.

From 10 – 20 April, Thara Thong is offering a not-to-be-missed traditional Khao-Chae, Chilled rice in jasmine-scented water served with condiments, additionally for a limited time offer. Guests are encouraged to make reservations early to secure their chance to experience these limited-time offerings.

In addition to our delectable offerings, guests will enjoy classical Thai performances, with the highlight being the mesmerizing Khon, which is the essence of Thai culture. Recognized as an invaluable aspect of 'Thainess' and listed on UNESCO's Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, these performances take place every Thursday to Sunday, commencing at 19.00 hrs.
