| Details: BCCT Insight Beyond Permission with Quintess BCCT invites you to join us for BCCT Insight: Beyond Permission with Quintess — an immersive evening exploring how we think, respond and make decisions. The evening will explore something we rarely have reason to question: How much of the way we think, respond and make decisions is actually conscious — and how much is conditioned? Rather than approaching this through a traditional presentation or workshop, Quintess will invite you to experience this question from a very different perspective — bringing together the psychological and physiological to explore what may be happening beneath the way we think, feel and respond. We deliberately don’t want to tell you exactly what to expect. There is nothing to prepare and nothing you need to bring. Just come as you are. The experience will take care of the rest. About Quintess Quintess is a behavioural and human performance approach that explores how people think, respond and make decisions, combining psychological and physiological perspectives to help individuals and teams develop greater awareness and make better-informed choices. Ash brings together more than 25 years in elite sport with over nine years of personal enquiry and inner work. A former professional footballer with more than 500 career appearances, his experience of performing at an elite level gives him a unique understanding of pressure, identity, resilience and the patterns that can develop when performance becomes part of who we are. A qualified psychotherapist and counsellor, Ash holds a BSc (Hons) in Psychology and Counselling and is a Graduate Member of the British Psychological Society. His work draws on psychodynamic and Gestalt therapy, CBT, mindfulness and neuroscience, supported by more than five years of clinical practice and over 1,000 client-facing hours. At the heart of Ash’s work is an exploration of why we think, feel and respond in the ways we do — particularly the conditioned patterns that can operate outside conscious awareness. His approach helps people recognise what may be driving their responses, creating space for greater awareness, clarity and conscious choice. Sally Holgate — Co-Founder, Quintess Sally has spent more than 35 years working in health, fitness and wellbeing, with a lifelong curiosity for the connection between mind, body and human behaviour. A former police officer, she is a qualified menopause expert and has also worked as a Master Trainer across multiple disciplines, alongside extensive training in somatic practice, breathwork, meditation and sound. She has facilitated and presented experiences around the world. At the heart of Sally’s work is her ability to hold space — creating environments where people can slow down, turn inward and explore what may be happening beneath conscious awareness. Her work is rooted in mind-body enquiry and experiential practice, allowing people not simply to understand change intellectually, but to feel and experience it for themselves.
