BCCT Policy Lunch Briefing: Thailand’s Net Zero 2050 Direction

*Special thanks to our sponsor DNV (Thailand)

The BCCT Sustainability Working Group (SWG) and Advocacy Working Group are pleased to invite you to a closed-door BCCT Policy Lunch Briefing on Thailand’s Net Zero 2050 Direction, with Dr. Phirun Saiyasitpanich, Director General of the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE).

As global discussions at the World Economic Forum 2026 shift from ambition to implementation, Thailand is entering a decisive phase in its climate journey. Businesses are now expected to move from commitments to action. This briefing offers a rare opportunity to hear directly from the policymaker shaping Thailand’s direction towards Net Zero 2050, NDC 3.0, and the upcoming Climate Change Act, with clear, practical implications for your business.

A panel discussion will follow, featuring Robert Easson, CEO at Easson Energy Thailand and IPMVP Ambassador for Thailand, and Daniel Ross, Chief Investment Officer and Head of Sustainability at BTS Group, together with private sector leaders. Moderated by Thitipa Laxanaphisuth, Policy Manager, BCCT.

The session will offer practical insights and real-world case studies on carbon revenue project development and implementation.

Highlights of the briefing include:

  • Thailand’s climate policy direction and implementation roadmap
  • The upcoming Climate Change Act and its implications for business
  • Key developments in carbon markets, reporting, sustainable finance, and the Thailand Taxonomy
  • Practical, no-regret actions to stay ahead of regulatory and market developments

Designed for senior leaders across sustainability, finance, risk, strategy, and operations navigating climate policy and seeking clarity on what’s next.

Join us to gain direct policy insight and position your business for Thailand’s low-carbon transition.
