Module 1: The Power of Presence: What it means to have 'charisma' in front of an audience

•  Using your hands, eyes, body and smile when presenting
•  Projecting your voice in a stimulating way
•  The importance of pausing
•  What it means to 'Be Authentic'

Module 2: Visuals and interactivity: How to keep your attendees engaged and stimulated throughout your presentation

•  Getting the text/graphics balance just right
•  Describing, not dictating
•  Using technology to actively engage your audience
•  Questioning as a presentation enhancement tool
•  Designing tasks for your audience to complete
•  Spatial activities that get your audience moving and learning!

Module 3: Listening as a report-building tool: It's not all about speaking! Leverage the power of active listening to your advantage when you give a team presentation.

•  Using the Socratic Method
•  Paraphrasing
•  Using what the audience 'gives' you
•  Understanding the emotional landscape of your audience

Module 4: Dealing with the unknown: Anything can happen; from tech glitches, to interruptions to challenging questions. Learn how to respond to such 'micro-adversities' with grace and candour.

•  Responding to questions and interruptions
•  What to do when you don't know the answer to a question
•  Preparing for a presentation when you have little subject knowledge
•  Dealing with nerves and anxiety

Module 5: How to end a presentation correctly: Formulate an active plenary that will leave your audience happy and fulfilled!

•  The art of active plenaries
•  Summarizing key points
•  Leveraging the last few minutes as a call to action
•  Acquiring contacts and follow-up business

 Using audience feedback as a means for constant self-improvement

• To secure your registration, advance payment is required. If payment is not received at least 24 hours before the event, your spot will be offered to those on the waiting list. Please note that walk-ins are not permitted.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to the event, as well as no-shows, will not be eligible for refunds or credits.
