BCCT VIRTUAL MEMBERS’ MEETING

"Thai Labour Policies/Initiatives"

The meeting will be conducted by BCCT Advocacy Working Group on Friday 22 March 2024 on Zoom Meeting from 11.00 am -12.00 pm. – Members only.

We welcome businesses to participate and share ideas in this important discussion, as your input will help shape our advocacy efforts and strengthen our position when engaging with government officials.

The session will take the following format:

  • Topic 1:Overview of the Ministry of Labour's policies/initiatives and current labor-related challenges in Thailand

BCCT Policy Manager updates the attendees on the current policy and initiatives of the Ministry of Labour.

  • Topic 2: Business Pain Point

Member Representatives from various businesses will share their pain points and concerns faced by businesses in navigating the regulatory landscape governed by the Ministry of Labour. This includes issues related to labor laws, employment practices, work permits, and other relevant matters.

  • Topic 3: The Recommendation Proposed to the Ministry of Labour

Based on the labour-related issues, the session will focus on finding solutions to create mutual benefits and reduce barriers for businesses.

The session will be moderated by BCCT Policy Manager, Suvarnna (Saen) Witthayaphatthanaphorn.
