Bangkok is hosting the 21st Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit from 18th to 19th November 2022. Many leaders from participating countries will attend. The government has announced the closure of, and restricted access, to certain roads at specific times during the four days from 16th – 19th November.

Roads closed 24 hours

  • Ratchadapisek Road (from Asoke Montri to Rama IV intersections)
  • Duang Phitak Road.

Roads closed from 6.00PM – 6.00AM

  • Ploenchit Road (inbound, from Ploenchit Expressway to Ratchaprasong intersections)
  • Wireless Road (inbound from Ploenchit to Sarasin intersections)
  • Ratchadamri Road (inbound from Ratchaprasong to Ratchadamri intersections)
  • Soi Tonson
  • Soi Ruamrudee

One-way roads from 6.00PM – 6.00AM

  • Ratchadamri Road, outbound between Ratchadamri and Ratchaprasong intersections
  • Wireless Road, outbound between Sarasin and Ploenchit intersections
  • Ploenchit Road, from Ploenchit Expressway to Ratchaprasong intersection

The MRT station at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre will be closed from November 16th – 19th.

Shuttle buses will be provided to transport people who live or work in the affected areas during 16th – 19th November.
