Background
The Village International Educational Centre is an Education Centre exclusively for children with special needs. Founded in 1999, The Village has over the last two decades, been successfully teaching, nurturing, and supporting children with special needs to develop to their full potential.

The Village has created a unique learning environment where the child is at the centre of a 360 specialist team who combine their skills and expertise to provide the best possible support so the child’s strengths can be developed and their areas of difficulties addressed.

The Village offers a full-time curriculum in Early Years, Primary, Middle and High School and welcomes children from 3 years to 20 years. The school has a team of specialists to provide specialist therapies and support – Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Counselling & Behavioural Support. Our extra-curricular activities are horse riding, swimming, cooking, community visits and skill-based classes to learn practical-skills using the UK certified ASDAN curriculum.

We are affiliated with University of Northampton, UK and Chulalongkorn University, Thailand to provide Special Needs Degree Programs, Training and Research & Development


 
Products or Services
Full-time British curriculum with early learning, primary, middle and high school syllabus. Key programs offered are Early Years Intervention, High Functioning Autism, PMLD (Profound Multiple Learning Difficulties), UK certified ASDAN Life Skills and GED (General Educational Diploma). Specialist therapies and support – Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Counselling & Behavioural Support. Assessments for children with special needs by Educational Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists. Extra-curricular activities which include horse riding, swimming, cooking, community visits and Saturday club. Skill-based classes to learn practical-skills which will help gain employment using ASDAN curriculum.

The Village offers the following Training Programs in partnership with the University of Northampton, UK: 1. MA degree in Special Educational Needs and Inclusion. A 2 year part time degree program for working professionals. 2. Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for teaching assistants and support staff. 3. International Qualified Teacher Status (iQTS) - a teacher training qualification based on UK standards and methods. 4. Workshops on Special Needs. 5. Customised training programs in Special Needs for International Schools
