Commitment to the Community
Over almost the past 60 years in Thailand, GSK has given the highest priority to providing quality healthcare products for Thais, the most important driving force for national development. We have remained strongly committed to improving the quality of people's lives through a wide variety of activities. Under GSK's corporate “Access to Medicine” initiative, we work with many partners to bring access to healthcare for Thais to create a sharing society. The GSK Medicine Bank, a Thai Red Cross Society partner, supports good health for the underprivileged. The Nursing Excellence Programme, in collaboration with the Praboromarajchanok Institute for Health Workforce Development, provides scholarships to underprivileged nursing students. The Telehealth Together project, a collaboration with True Digital Group and Easy Asthma and COPD Clinic Network (EACC), helps patients with chronic respiratory diseases including asthma, COPD, and allergies, who can receive ongoing treatments via the Telehealth Together platform. This project helps to reduce costs and save time for both patients and staff, and mitigates the risk of infection in hospitals, while reinforcing the Thai government’s public-private partnership policy. In 2023, GSK launched the “Gen Young Active 50+” project, aimed at empowering those 50+ and over with valuable insights into healthcare and improved awareness of disease prevention through the project’s website and LINE Official Account: GenYoungActive, reinforcing adult immunization and ensuring fulfilling lives for this growing segment of the population while responding to the challenges posed by Thailand’s aged society.
