Background
Founded in 1996, the British International School, Phuket (BISP) is an English medium, co-educational, day and boarding school that is rated as one of the top international schools in Thailand and Asia. Its purpose-built 44-acre (111 rai) campus includes high quality boarding accommodation and provides world-class facilities which enable students to excel in their studies as well as sports, performing arts and many other areas. The student body consists of approximately 1150 students with over 60 different nationalities represented. Many BISP students have represented their countries internationally across a range of High Performance sports.
