Background
We purchased a run-down bakery, to convert into an office for our plumbing business in N London. (You might have seen us on UK TV, BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders, catching out dishonest plumbers). Whilst renovating the building, the builders removed the original ovens and chimney, as they were unsafe. We then got sued by a neighbour who claimed to have owned the chimney. Whilst our lawyers investigated the history of the building to see if the neighbours’ allegations were true, they uncovered a dark secret, Mothers ruin… Yes, the bakers at Pymmes Mews, back in 1890, made illicit gin, in fact they sold more illicit gin a week, than they did bread. We worked hard to track down any descendants of The Old Bakery and were fortunate to find a gentleman in his 90s. He kindly gave us the names of the 4 botanicals used to make the original illicit gin. We then used our plumbing skills and built a mini distillery. The rest is history, the once illicit Gin is now legal and available in Thailand.
 
Products or Services
We produce a once illicit gin, dating back 130+ years. We make three different variations of the gin and sometimes a Christmas special. We also have licence to re-distil a famous Jamaican rum and add our own mark to it and we also make a London single malt whisky which is stored in our oak rum barrels for a unique flavour.

In the United Kingdom we currently supply Buckingham Palace, Lancaster House, Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Department for International Trade, Ministry of Defence, The British Army, The Royal Navy, Harrods, Fortnum and Mason amongst others.
