| Background | |
| King’s College International School Bangkok (King’s Bangkok) has built a community centred around the values of good manners, kindness, and wisdom. We work closely with King’s College School, Wimbledon, to ensure that our education is founded on three central pillars: a strong academic curriculum, a broad and varied range of co-curricular activities, and a pastoral care system that ensures our students are happy and excited to come to school each day. We opened in August 2020 in the prestigious Ratchada–Rama 3 area of Bangkok. Our state-of-the-art facilities include an enclosed, heated, saltwater Olympic-size swimming pool and a heated pool for our Early Years students; outdoor and covered courts; a FIFA-quality football turf; an outdoor running track; an indoor jogging track; and an air-conditioned sports hall housing three full-size basketball courts. Our 625-seat auditorium, the Great Hall, a fully equipped TechnoGym fitness room, a gymnastics studio with an Olympic-standard floor and multiple apparatus, a cooking room, and specialist classrooms for Science, Design and Technology, Music, Robotics, Drama, and Art. The campus also features an exceptional Early Years Centre with outstanding indoor and outdoor learning areas. Opened in August 2024, ‘The College’ is a 22,800-square-metre complex that serves as a dynamic hub for our senior students. It features a Sixth Form Centre designed to support study, collaboration, and personal growth. The complex includes classrooms for all subjects, a modern library with co-working and co-learning spaces, a 300-seat refectory with outdoor access, a soundproof ensemble hall with music classrooms, and The Forum. It also offers a parents’ lounge with a Dean & DeLuca Café and school shop, advanced art studios with exhibition space, 16 escalators, high-speed lifts, skywalks for connectivity, a College Hall and Fitness Suite promoting a healthy lifestyle, and an additional 150 indoor parking spaces — bringing the total to over 550. We are a British international school, and the education we offer may be quite different from what you have experienced before. At King’s Bangkok, children follow a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages curiosity and exploration. They are given opportunities to pursue their interests and discover new hobbies, helping them to grow into well-rounded individuals. Our students are nurtured to become independent and resilient learners who are not afraid to make mistakes — because through these experiences, they learn and thrive. In this way, we prepare them to be the global citizens our changing world needs. Our staff know each child in a variety of contexts and are always there to offer guidance and support. As a community, King’s Bangkok works closely with families to give every child the chance to become happy, confident, and compassionate young people who live with a great heart. King’s Bangkok currently accommodates over 1,600 students from Pre-nursery to Year 13 (ages 2–18). | |
