Background
Air For Life Technology, developed in collaboration with NASA in 1994, introduced a groundbreaking ionizing technology called PCO (Photocatalytic Oxidation) to extend the shelf life of fruits and vegetables on the space shuttle. Professor N. Ghosh from West Texas A&M University and his research team further advanced this technology, creating AFLPCO® (Air For Life Photocatalytic Oxidation) and incorporating it into a range of next-generation purifiers and sanitizers known as Sanifiers®.

AFLPCO®, combined with AFL Plasma®, generates millions of human-friendly negative ions, more than any other purifier or ionizer on the market. These ions neutralize airborne impurities such as dust, pollen, pet dander, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), bacteria (including MRSA), and viruses like coronaviruses. They also eliminate unpleasant odors, such as bathroom and cooking smells, at the source—unlike air fresheners that merely mask them. The result is 99.9% clean, fresh, and safe air and surfaces.

These negative ions are found in natural environments such as sea air, mountain air, and near waterfalls. Scientifically proven to enhance concentration, improve sleep quality, and boost mood, negative ions are often called the "vitamins of the air."

Unlike most purifiers with HEPA filters that can't trap small bacteria and viruses, Air For Life Sanifiers® have no filters and can directly kill disease-causing microbes.
