Objectives:

“The Manufacturing Group provides access to information, expertise, and best practice around manufacturing in Thailand, through factory visits and talks by industry leaders, government officials, and subject matter experts”

2025 Overview:

2025 was a year of Change for the group. The Manufacturing group was restarted in 2023 and previously focused on manufacturing site visits.  In 2025 our visits included a trip to AB Foods’s ‘Ovaltine factory’ in Samut Prakan where they demonstrated their automated processes and their commitment to carbon reduction by the installation of solar cells on their roof. We also visited Senior Aerospace’s (now rebranded as Zenix Aerospace) to see their precision manufacturing of jet engine parts.

During the year, we agreed to open the group up to Supply Chian and Logistics companies and rebranded ourselves as the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Logistics Group. We kicked off the change with a debate at the Chamber office on the subject of “Factories of the Future: Humans in Charge or AI in Control”?

Plans in 2026:

For 2026 we have confirmed visits to the new DHL Inspire X operation on Bangna Trat road, another visit to Triumph Motorcycles to coincide with the BCCT Multi Chamber year end networking event in Pattaya. We will also focus on more seminar type events in Bangkok at the Chamber office.

For board meeting:

• March 18th – Visit to DHL’s new Sustainable Logistics Centre.
• Q2 and Q3 activities under review.
• Q4 December 11th - Visit to Triumph / ES Networking confirmed.
