Events are the lifeblood of the Chamber and the principle form of interaction for many members. The Events group works closely with the BCCT staff Events team on all matters relating to BCCT Events with a particular focus on members needs and balancing this with financial viability.
A regular fixture is the monthly T3, or third Thursday, Business networking events. These are an ideal place for members, new and old, to grow their businesses by connecting with members and visiting companies. They are also an excellent place for those who are new to Thailand to reach out to like-minded individuals and find essential services like educational and medical care or lifestyle and entertainment services, including some of the best hotels in Bangkok.
Other events held by the chamber range from up-country and Eastern Seaboard networking, lunch and dinner events with government ministers and other keynote speakers to briefings on new points of law or pain-points or areas of interest for the chamber members. The events group works to support the other groups with making their events a success.
BCCT shares or co-brands some events with other chambers to widen the appeal and reciprocally to allow BCCT members access to events planned by other chambers. We also work with the British Embassy and recently had access to visiting UK government ministers and dignitaries including Boris Johnson and Liam Fox as well as the Duke of Gloucester.
Following all events the attendees are sent a survey provided by BCCT member BMRS, to assess attendees’ feedback on everything from networking opportunity to the food and beverage provided. The results of these surveys are important information for the Events group, who will then work on improving events to better serve the members of the Chamber.
Any feedback on events or interest in contributing to the work of the group would be greatly appreciated.
