BCCT and British Embassy Discuss Market-Distorting Practices in Thailand
Promoting fair competition is key to helping UK businesses thrive in Thailand.
BCCT Chair Aime Pinyapa Somphong, Board Director Ornuthai Na Chiangmai, and Policy Manager Netima T. recently met with the UK Competition Team, led by Alexander Mytenka, Senior Policy Adviser on Market-Distorting Practices, to exchange views on the challenges and opportunities facing UK businesses in Thailand.
The meeting also sparked a productive, forward-looking discussion on how the UK Competition Team can support UK companies through UK–Thailand cooperation on competition policy. Our shared aim: to promote fair competition, reduce market distortions, and improve the regulatory environment for UK businesses operating here.
