b) Networking Evenings - Networking Evenings are hosted in the facilities of BCCT members (in Bangkok and the Eastern Seaboard) and are open to non-members thus widening the networking base for BCCT members and providing public relations exposure for the host.
a) Breakfast Briefings and Evening Presentations - Organised seven or eight times a year when speakers present subjects of specific interest to a small group of members or when members wish to present their company's services.
Joint BCCT/British Embassy Breakfast Briefings at the British Ambassador's Residence started in 2001 and have always been well-attended.
b) Special BCCT Luncheons - Organised on a monthly basis or more frequently according to availability of high-profile speakers – usually Thai Ministers, senior officials or senior executives visiting from the UK. BCCT Committee Lunches are also held on a regular basis addressing subjects across a wide range of areas including Property & Infrastructure, IT & Internet, Human Resources, etc.

The BCCT membership list is available exclusively to members of the BCCT electronically or in hard copy at any time during their membership. This list is not sold or given to non-members. In addition members are given access to other members contact details in the password-protected members' directory on the BCCT website.
Via the BCCT office: email introducing your company is forwarded to key selected prospects within the BCCT membership.
Members can utilise the experience and knowledge of BCCT Executive Office staff for face-to-face meetings with visitors from overseas, business colleagues, new arrivals in Thailand, etc. The Executive Director also meets businessmen during his visits to the UK.
The BCCT is an active partner of the European ASEAN Business Centre, and works with other chambers to lobby the Thai government on a wide range of issues.
Many BCCT members channel their charitable activities into the British Community in Thailand Foundation for the Needy (BCTFN) that distributes funds raised at the Annual Ploenchit Fair to over 60 charities in Thailand. The BCCT Executive Director is Vice President of the BCTFN and is Chairman of the Board of the Thailand Business Coalition on AIDS. On the commercial side this can include paid advertising on the BCCT website, in the Annual Handbook, The Link magazine or in the Annual Compensation & Benefits Survey. Other publicity vehicles include sponsorship of a Pub Night, preparation of an appropriate article, company profile, press release, etc for The Link or hosting a factory or site visit.
Overseas trade missions have been organized to Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar (Burma) and Southern China. In-country the BCCT organizes events in the Eastern Seaboard, Chiang Mai and Phuket.
BCCT staff can undertake basic research in response to member enquiries eg sourcing lists of contacts, government regulations, seeking advice from BCCT committees, etc. However, the extent of assistance is limited by staffing resources at the BCCT office.
The BCCT Executive Office has a wide range of excellent government and private sector contacts both in Thailand and overseas. If unable to assist with an enquiry direct members can be provided with contacts to pursue their enquiry privately.
