As part of a wider portfolio of brands including Ryvita, Pataks, and Kingsmill, as well as our retail arm, Primark, we focus on our Twinings and Ovaltine brands here in South-East Asia.

Last year, we proudly celebrated Ovaltine’s 90th Anniversary in Thailand, as well as 35 years of local manufacturing. I have been with the ABF group for 18 years, the last five being in Thailand. I live here with my wife and two children, and Thailand is the sixth country in which I’ve lived. In my role I have accountability for our end-to-end supply chain in the region, from R&D, through sourcing, and manufacturing, up to the handover with our distributors.

My intention in standing for election to the board is to deepen my involvement with the Chamber, and to try to give back by playing an active role in helping to foster the opportunities for others from which I have already benefitted.

The first event that I attended was a seminar which really helped in building my initial understanding of life and business in Thailand, and I continue to find such events incredibly useful and a time-effective way to be briefed on new legislation and business opportunities. We have hosted Manufacturing Working Group events at ABFT to share our environmental initiatives, and I believe this is a great way of finding common ground and building meaningful connections between our multinational and SME members.

I will work to drive these events further, as well as supporting new members to navigate their initial network building. I will ensure that BCCT continues to generate these purpose-led connections and truly informative insights through its member events and working groups.
