Suebsiri Taweepon, Senior Associate at Tilleke & Gibbins International Ltd., will give a presentation on recent developments in Intellectual Property law. His discussion will begin with this year’s recent Amendments to the Thai Copyright Act, which provided IP rightholders with new enforcement tools to combat infringers, and established new procedures which can be used to force ISPs to remove infringing content from their services. He will also cover recent trends and statistics in IP infringement and enforcement, and where such trends are likely leading. In particular, he will discuss the rise of infringing digital content, and the unique challenges raised by infringement in the digital age.
