Bert was a well respected figure within the Pattaya and wider British community in Thailand. Many will remember him as a popular restaurateur, as well as for his long standing service as the British Honorary Consul in Pattaya. Through his work, he supported countless British nationals in times of need and made a lasting contribution to the community, including his leadership of, and involvement with, the Royal British Legion.

He will be warmly remembered for his dedication, kindness, and commitment to helping others.
