BCCT BOARD OF DIRECTORS 2026-27

At Thursday’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) seven board directors were elected to serve two-year terms from now to March 2028. A warm welcome to the five newcomers to the board and the two re-elected board directors. Special thanks for standing to the five candidates who were unsuccessful this year.

In 2026  Pinyapa (Aime) Somphong, Managing Partner of TWLS will serve her second year as Chair. She has appointed as Vice Chairs: Martin Hurley, General Manager At Lancaster Bangkok, Von Nonsrichai, Chief Operating Officer At The Hongkong And Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC), and Simon Shale, CEO At Zenix Aerospace (Thailand) Ltd.

Aime notes  “My sincere thanks to all BCCT members for your continued support. As Chair of BCCT Board of Directors, my vision and focus remain on ensuring that what we deliver reflects real business dynamics, relevant, practical and of real value to our members. I am confident that we are moving in the right direction and will continue to build on this with a clear and purposeful approach in the year ahead.

I would also like to extend my thanks to the Chamber team, our Working Group Leads and fellow Board Directors. A great deal of work takes place behind the scenes, and it is very much appreciated. It has been a privilege to serve alongside you all.

Chair

PINYAPA SOMPHONG - Managing Partner at TWLS Company Limited

Pinyapa (Aime) brings much knowledge and experience having served on the BCCT board for four years from 2018 to 2021, and as Vice Chair in 2021. After graduating with a Master’s Degree in International Trade and Commercial Law from Durham University she moved back to Thailand in 2015. With years of experience, in both legal and business practices, Aime has a pool of knowledge and great understanding in business model concept and the existential needs for successful and sustained business and investment.

MARTIN HURLEY - General Manager at Lancaster Bangkok

Martin Hurley is the General Manager of Lancaster Bangkok: a luxury hotel offering elegant accommodation and premium amenities in the heart of the city. Martin Chairs the Events and Travel & Tourism Working Groups and he previously served four years on the BCCT Board including two years as a Vice Chair.

VON NONSRICHAI - Chief Operating Officer at The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited (HSBC)

Von Nonsrichai is Chief Operating Officer at HSBC Thailand and a member of the country executive committee. With nearly two decades at HSBC, he leads operations, technology, and strategic transformation. A current BCCT Board member, he is committed to supporting the Chamber’s growth and member engagement.

SIMON SHALE - CEO at Zenix Aerospace (Thailand) Ltd.

Simon Shale is the CEO of Senior Aerospace Thailand based in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC) of Thailand. The company specialises in precision-engineered components for the aerospace industry, delivering high-quality manufacturing and engineering solutions.

GARETH DAVIES - Partner & CTO at DDX

Gareth is the Chief Technical Officer of DDX, an award-winning consultancy specialising in sustainability, smart cities, and mobility. He has a decade of experience in managing technical consulting firms, including eight years in Asia. 

MONIKA DMOCHOWSKA - Director of Global Partnerships & Diplomatic Affairs at Mahanakorn Partners Group

Dr. Monika Dmochowska is Director of Global Partnerships and Diplomatic Affairs at Mahanakorn Partners Group in Bangkok. She supports international businesses in Thailand through strategic advisory, stakeholder engagement, and cross-border partnerships. A former diplomat, she specialises in trade promotion, investment facilitation, and building trusted networks between the public and private sectors.

IAN KAVANAGH - Regional Operations Director at AB Food and Beverages (Thailand) Ltd

Ian Kavanagh is the Regional Operations Director of AB Food and Beverages (Thailand): the manufacturer and distributor of food and beverage products including Twinings and Ovaltine. Ian has been working in Thailand for five years and is responsible for the regional supply chain.

TANVA MAHITIVANICHCHA - Partner at Grant Thornton

Tanva Mahitivanichcha advises on corporate, commercial, and tax matters, including foreign investment, M&A, and regulatory issues. He has led due diligence for major transactions and IPOs. He also serves in key public–private roles and regularly contributes to policy discussions, publications, and forums on trade and investment.

MICHAEL MARSHALL - Chief Executive Officer at S Hotels & Resorts Public Company Limited

Michael David Marshall is CEO of S Hotels & Resorts, part of the Singha Group. Based in Thailand since 2012, he previously spent 11 years at Minor Hotels, supporting its global expansion. With extensive international hospitality experience, he focuses on driving growth, operational excellence, and value creation.

ORNUTHAI NA CHIANGMAI - CEO & Country Chair at The Shell Company Thailand Limited

Ornuthai Na Chiangmai is the CEO and Country Chair of The Shell Company Thailand. The company offers high-quality energy solutions, including fuels, lubricants, and petrochemicals, supporting Thailand's mobility and industrial growth. 

PUNEET NARANG - Managing Director at Diageo Moet Hennessy (Thailand) Limited

Puneet Narang is Managing Director of Diageo Moët Hennessy (Thailand). Since 2022, he has led the company’s strategic direction and growth. With over 25 years of international experience, he specialises in P&L management, marketing, and innovation, and has held senior roles across global FMCG and consumer healthcare companies.

NATTINEE NETRAUMPAI - Head of Corporate Affairs at Unilever Thai Trading Co., Ltd

Nattinee joined Unilever Thailand in 2019 as Head of External Affairs and Media Relations, leveraging her extensive government relations experience. Prior to Unilever, she played a key role in Thailand's trade and investment landscape, contributing to negotiations of various FTAs and agreements.

SARAH RAFFRAY - Executive Principal at King's College International School
Bangkok

Sarah Raffray is Executive Principal of King’s College International School Bangkok. A values-driven leader, she has a strong track record in driving growth, financial performance, and institutional turnaround in the UK and international education sectors. She also serves as a school inspector and holds extensive board and governance experience.

PHINNIPHA SURIYONG - Managing Director at Aplus Career

Phinnipha Suriyong has over 16 years of experience in executive search and recruitment team leadership. Phinnipha (Nina) Chairs the Women in Business Working Group and is a member of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group. She also leads BCCT's Annual Mentoring Programme.

BLAKE DIMSDALE - Audit and Advisory Partner at Forvis Mazars (Thailand) Ltd.

Blake moved to Thailand in 2004 and joined Forvis Mazars in 2009.
