WESTERN SEABOARD
Objectives: To promote the BCCT within the Western Seaboard, centered around Hua Hin, to recruit new members and to act as an interface for Western Seaboard Members to interact and work with Bangkok Members. To make the BCCT, the ‘Go To’ Chamber of Commerce in the Western Seaboard
Plans in 2026:
- Encouraging more engagement from local members
- Encouraging more engagement from BKK members
- Improving quality of local Networking Events
- Recruiting new members
- Engagement from Local Members: Improve communication with local members, not just when an event is on, but to have local based updates, could we do this by sending mailshots to specific members, either by email or by getting them to use the app and sending them notifications
- Engagement from BKK Members: Encourage more BKK members to come down to local events. There is a hard-core group who always come, but we need to be proactive to try to get more BKK members to events
- Improving Events: We are working hard to find new venues, especially with indoor locations, even though we have number of hotels at the beach, it seems most people who attend the evets prefer an air-conditioned environment, especially in the hot summer months. We are also now getting the Venue to supply all the Alcohol, in the past we used to supply the alcohol ourselves and it was very hard to manage quantities, we would always run out, or we would have loads left over. We have done this for the last 3 events. It also gives us a fixed cost so it’s much easier to control the costs and ensure all events make a small profit.
- New Members: As always this is a challenge as there is very limited scope to find new members outside of the Hospitality Industry
Upcoming Events:
