Government offices are entitled to observe holidays in lieu, 
in the case that certain holidays decent on any day at the 
weekend, the Government employees are therefore entitled not 
more than one day to be substituted to the following working day.

By Virtue of the provision of section 17 of the Commercial Banking 
Act B.E. 2505, and its amendments, the Bank of Thailand hereby 
announces the commercial banks holidays for 2005 as follows;

7.  Mon  2 May Substitution for National Labour Day (Sun 1 May)

9.  Mon 23 May Substitution for Wisakha Bucha Day (Sun 22 May)

11. Fri 22 Jul Buddhist Lent Day

Note: For Commercial Banks in the provinces of Narathiwat, 
Pattani, Yala and Satun, an extra holiday is given for the Eidilfitri Day 
(Ramadan Day) announced by the Sheikhul Islam Office if the day does not 
coincide with the above mentioned holidays or Saturday and Sunday.
