"A JOINT BCCT/BRITISH EMBASSY NETWORKING EVENING" (Drinks & Snacks)

on Tuesday 22nd June 2004 from 6 to 7.45 pm (strictly last orders)

All members and guests are welcome. There is an entry fee for this event of THB 100 per person (BCCT members) and THB 1,000 per person (BCCT non-members and guests). Please read the new rules governing non-member access to BCCT events:-

Non-members may attend a maximum of two events at the non-member fee (not counting events where non-members are personally invited by the BCCT). At this stage the non-member should be in a position to judge the value of
membership to their organisation based on their event attendance and the information on other membership benefits provided by the BCCT. Any member inviting non-member guests must advise the BCCT office in advance. No non-member walk-ins are permitted. Those non-members that have already attended at least two previous BCCT events are not permitted a further two
attendances.

The THB 1,000 non-member entry fee may be discounted from the membership fee should a company subsequently join the BCCT within 30 days of the event. Please note that there is only one THB 1,000 discount per membership irrespective of the number of company representatives attending the event.

SECURITY MEASURES

PLEASE ENSURE YOU COMPLY WITH THE FOLLOWING SECURITY MEASURES AT THE BRITISH EMBASSY:-

1. No vehicles are permitted inside the Embassy Compound (Ploenchit is the nearest BTS station and there is parking at various locations near the Embassy - Wave Place, The Hilton and Holiday Mansion Hotels and Central Department Store but there will be charges for parking at the first three locations)

2. Entry to the Embassy is by the Wireless Road gate only

3. Only those that have booked on-line by 2 pm on Tuesday 2nd March and are therefore on the BCCT advance booking list will be allowed to enter. The Embassy has instructed the security guards to enforce this. Please inform your colleagues and guests. No walk-ins.

4. Last orders for drinks is at 7.45 pm. No drinks will be served after this time. Your booking denotes your acceptance of this. Please do not put pressure on the bar staff by asking for a drink after 7.45 pm.

5. All attending must leave the Embassy grounds by 8.15 pm. The British Embassy Compound is a residential area for Embassy staff and their families. Please leave the compound in a quiet and orderly fashion.

YOU WILL NEED A MEMBERSHIP NUMBER AND PASSWORD TO BOOK VIA THIS METHOD. ENTER BOTH IN THE APPROPRIATE BOXES IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OR THE HOME PAGE AND PROCEED BY CLICKING ON EVENT BOOKINGS.

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK YOUR PLACES AT EVENTS USING ANY OTHER METHOD UNLESS THIS IS ABSOLUTELY UNAVOIDABLE. IT IS A STRAIGHT-FORWARD PROCEDURE AND IS MUCH QUICKER THAN FILLING OUT A REPLY FORM.
