YOUR SECURITY IS AT RISK Attend this BCCT ICT Group presentation to find out why - and what you should be doing about it. With the incredible proliferation and explosion of smart phones, tablets, social networking sites and Cloud computing, the nature of our information technology security is rapidly changing. Now we have to consider security not only in the physical world but the virtual too. The BCCT ICT Group are aware that this is a very real issue for your company and would like to bring members up-to-date with the very latest information on threats, and potential solutions in this new connected world. No company can afford to ignore these issues and mitigating the risk should be a key element in the IT policies of all companies. To find out more about what these are and how you can take some basic precautions, you should ensure that someone from your company attends this meeting. We are extremely fortunate that Khun Prinya has agreed to give some insight into these issues and we recommend this as a "must attend" event for anyone concerned about computer, mobile and internet security both now and in the future. For the sake of your business and your personal security, mark this in your diary and book now. The presentation will be in English but questions and private discussion with Khun Prinya can be in English or Thai. About the Speaker: Prinya Hom-Anek has over twenty years of information technology and information security experience and has worked in network and data communication, internet and network security, fraud and forensic investigation, penetration testing, ISMS and generic information security consulting in both public and private sectors. He is recognised as one of Asia Pacific’s leading information security professional. He has recently been appointed Thailand’s ISO representative on Information Technology security. A full biography of his many areas of work is available at http://www.acisonline.net/prinyacv_new.htm Invoice: BCCT will add a 10% surcharge to any invoices that BCCT is required to raise after an event. Event attendees should either pay in advance or on the door. No-show policy: There are many events (e.g. luncheons and breakfast briefings) that require BCCT to give guaranteed numbers of attendees to the venue. If those who have booked fail to attend the venue invariably still charges the BCCT. As a result, BCCT's policy in these situations is to invoice no-shows (unless there are exceptional circumstances). |
